Care & Cleaning Instructions

Your pure copper carafe is designed for storing drinking water and, with proper care, will develop a beautiful natural patina over time. This is a normal characteristic of pure copper and does not affect its quality or performance.

Before First Use

• Wash the carafe thoroughly with warm water.
• Clean the inside and outside using a solution of fresh lemon juice (or white vinegar) and a small amount of salt.
• Rinse well with clean water and dry with a soft cloth.

Daily Use

• Fill with drinking water and enjoy throughout the day.
• Empty, rinse and allow the carafe to air dry after use.
• Refill with fresh water daily for the best experience.

Cleaning

• Hand wash only.
• Do not use a dishwasher.
• Avoid abrasive cleaners, steel wool or harsh scouring pads, as these may scratch the copper surface.
• To restore the natural shine, occasionally clean using:
  • Fresh lemon juice and salt, or
  • White vinegar and salt.
• Rinse thoroughly after cleaning and dry immediately with a soft cloth.

Important Information

• Store drinking water only.
• Do not use for acidic beverages such as citrus juice, vinegar, kombucha, soft drinks, wine or other acidic liquids, as these can react with copper.
• Copper naturally oxidises and may develop darker areas or a patina over time. This is a normal characteristic of pure copper and can be polished if preferred.
• Minor variations in colour and handcrafted details make each piece unique.
